Story Time 4

Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved the forest. It was an area that was dangerous but one that had provided the means to her freedom. Thus, when it called to her again, she armed herself with a knife and ventured in without hesitation.

As she strolled along the path through woods, she was spotted by a local huntsman. He was a brutish man who, upon seeing the girl, decided to use her to satisfy his lust and began to follow her.
The girl quickly noticed her pursuer and left the path to head deeper into the woods. The huntsman followed, thinking her easy prey. He didn’t know that a wolf lurked inside.

She led the uphill chase; the trees allowing for her unassuming, familiar form to slip through easily while tripping and scratching at the huntsman. She was enjoying this little game, but knew it must end soon so she led him back downward towards a plateau. Upon reaching her destination she pulled out the knife turned and thrust it upwards towards her descending attacker, catching him at the base of his foul desire. The knife was torn free of him as they both fell.

The girl collected herself off the ground, taking in the melody of his pain-wracked moans. She forced him from his side to his back, enjoying the fear and agony in his eyes as he saw the wolf he had thought his prey.

“What big eyes you have…” He sputtered in shock before being rendered silent by her knife.

  1. What fool is the hunter who approaches his prey without first learning exactly how dangerous it is. I'm so glad for story time, Knit, I always look forward to more.

  5. Om- I have indeed been studying, but it's a different matter to put into practice like this. I'm hardly a master of knife combat but I'm learning.
