Drawings

Took some time to do some drawing, so I figured I'd post them here just for fun

The first one is just silly little comic

This second one is of Lizzie, my favorite of Tom Savini's creations. She was featured in an episode of Tales from the Darkside; a great series from the 80's

Funny thing is, she kind of reminds me of some of the descriptions I've read of the rake

  1. Quite nice, better than I could do at any rate. Anyways, I have a request for you, a challenge if you are intrested. I'm scouting out new sources of information, and I may have found one, however, I'm unsure if they are quite worthy of my attention. I've compiled a little test for them, a code to be broken, and I was wondering if I could try it out on you first. You see, it isn't an exceptionally clever code, but rather several easy codes layered on top of each other, 5 in total, including the origonal message (which was somewhat inspired by your stories). The buried message isn't for you, so feel free to decline if you wish, although if you do take up the challenge please don't publish the end result, no spoilers in case they are watching. 100 0 110 01 1010 11 111 100 0 0 010 0010 100001 10 001 111 010 01 001 111 1011 0 0 000 010101 101 1010 111 0100 0010 0 010 00 1 10 0 000 00 0000 10 01 0000 1 010 0 1 1 0 1000 10 0 0001 0 000 0 1 000 01 1 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 010 0 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 10 00 000 1 0000 110 00 0100 0 100 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111 010101 1 000 001 0 0010 1 01 0 010 110 0 0000 1 100 0 010 01 0110 0 010 0110 111 0000 011 0 10 111 0 0000 1 000 00 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 010 0 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 0000 101 10 01 0000 1 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111 010101 1011 0 101 0 0000 1 000 100 0100 111 0000 111 0000 011 0 10 111 0 0000 1 000 00 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 010 0 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 000 0 0001 111 0100 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111 010101 101 1010 01 1000 1 0000 110 00 0010 111 1 110 10 00 0100 0100 00 011 0 10 111 1011 0100 10 111 0 0000 1 000 00 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 0 010 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 000 010 01 0 0010 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111 010101 0110 0 0 0000 000 1011 10 01 11 111 000 000 1 1010 0 1 111 010 0110 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 010 0 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 000 0 1 01 0000 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111 010101 10 0 0 000 0 1000 1 111 10 111 1 1 010 111 0010 0010 0 111 10 000 0 101 01 11 0 0000 010 111 0010 100 010 0 0000 0110 0 0000 000 0 0000 1 000 011 111 10 101 0010 0100 111 011 0 0000 1 011 111 0000 111. Let me know if it is to easy or dificult, I would recomend opening up a word or notebook document to track your progress if you try it out.

  2. Wow you picked the wrong person to test this out on hahaha... See, I know the prevalent stereotype is that proxies can translate code in their sleep, but that just isn't the case. Sorry to disappoint but I am a poor means by which to properly test difficulty. I did give it a try, but unfortunately I must admit defeat. I am glad that I have inspired you in some way though

  3. Oh well thanks for trying, as I said, the code is rather simplistic, if you figure out what the 1's and 0's mean it falls into place embarsingly simply (if still very time-consuming to finish decodeing.) I suppose I have heard the sterotype you've mentioned, but I've never given it much credibility, as you have stated before, you are mostly all unique (ignoring hollowed ones), I just wanted to try it out on you because of your stories. By the way, I'm looking forward to the next one.

  4. Well I did run it through binary, and other translators but what came out didn't look like anything I had ever seen before...

As I said... I'm not much for this kind of coding... I've only ever done something in numeric code once and I don't intend to again. I'm more of a literary type than a numbers person hehe...

And on that note, I'm happy that you enjoy my stories and thanks for giving me a shot at it anyway

  5. Yes, that's what I was afraid of, it does look to much like binary, perhapes I shouldn't have translated it that final time. I see a good code as something that be figured out using pure logic, and once you know the key takes very little time to translate, and by these rules, this is not a good code. Each individual step is fairly ovbious but it doesn't really look like anything untill you reach the final step or two. The exception to this is the first part, where the answer is painfully not ovbious, and once translated it still doesn't convey a clear message. Perhapes I should start lower down the line, or just give a generous hint or two if they get stumped. Anyways, thanks for your help.

  6. Oh! I've seen that episode of the Tales from the Darkside! They played it on the scifi channel (before they stopped playing good stuff). I've never met the Rake, but he is not very nice to anyone. I know some things about him, but I'm not allowed to talk about them. Father wouldn't appreciate it.

  7. Nice! I'm glad to know someone else remembers that show. As for the Rake... I've never met him... Though it was brought up in a previous discussion on here that he might have had something to do with my sleep paralysis... don't know for sure of course, I just know Ritter was there.

I understand, if you can't talk about him. I don't want you to get in trouble.
