Waiting Game

Been a quiet couple of weeks here since I took my revenge…  

No accusations have come my way thus far, so that’s good hehe

I stopped coughing up blood and my body seems to be healing up well in general.

Also, my stomach pains and headaches are gone

Aside from that, I feel… different

It’s hard to describe… euphoric maybe?  No, that doesn’t seem to cover it…

    

I feel better than I have in a long time anyway.

I’m even sleeping well

Oh! Also picked up a new knife; a much better one. It’s actually a proper hunting knife this time… Don’t want to make the same mistake twice if I end up having to do that sort of thing again

I’ve continued my knitting, in the meantime, partly out of enjoyment partly out of compulsion, but as you could probably guess from the title of this post, I’ve got this eerie feeling like something more is on the way… Like this is the calm before the storm

Ah well, let it come, whatever it may be. I’m just glad that I’ve had this time of relative peace, especially given the hell that’s apparently been breaking loose around here what with Thuggee launching an attack on Mystery, Shady and company and KK becoming Tetsuo, beheading the last immortal, claiming the prize, discovering it to be full of stars and now is anarchy incarnate by the power of greyskull or something. I’m just kidding about KK, though what happened to her is just about as strange.

… Dia has also been hurt very badly….

Brightsky, as you are one of the very rare people I actually care about in some way, I’m worried about you…. though I think you’re stronger than some give you credit for.

Anyway, it’s back to work as usual for me until Ritter says otherwise
